Anderson Motor Speedway to wave the green flag March 12th

The Anderson Motor Speedway will kick off the 2011 season by hosting the Pro All Stars Series (PASS). The PASS-South Super Late Models will be competing in the Electric City 150 on Saturday night March 12th. It has been a couple of years since the PASS series has rolled into Anderson and track promoter Sylvia Porter and her staff are very excited for the speedway and for the fans,

“We are absolutely delighted to have Tom Mayberry and the staff of the PASS-South Series back at Anderson. The series is the hottest thing going for Super Late Model competition and the fans are in for a real treat when this event takes the green flag,” said Porter.

The track will be open for practice from 3:00pm until 7:00pm on Friday March 11th for the Super Late Models, Legend Cars, Super Bandoleros, Front Wheel Drives, and Renegades.
The pit gates will open at 9:00am on Saturday March 12th with practice for all classes beginning at 11:00am lasting until 3:00pm. The Super Late Models will hit the track for qualifying at 4:00pm with the heat races for the other divisions to follow.
